TMG is a five piece band from Geneva, Switzerland. Although they formed in 2005, this is their first full length release. The bio cites bands like Katatonia, Tool and a Perfect Circle as major influences on the band sound and approach to music. The CD features 14 tracks in one hour. I would agree, it is melodic hard rock with strong vocals and harmonies and the tracks clearly aim for the popular hard rock metal audience in the USA. I did not really get what was so special about this band. No instrumental solos, guitar solos, or anything truly progressive with this band.
